The Resolve team attended Fratton Park on Saturday to watch Portsmouth FC vs Forest Green Rovers in the English Football League One. The game was also host to a number of celebrations dedicated to Portsmouth’s 125-year anniversary.
Almost a year to the day that Resolve and Portsmouth FC began their partnership, the team were invited to the Partner’s Lounge at Fratton Park for a three-course meal and drinks before watching the League One side take on bottom side Forest Green.
Sitting in the Partner’s lounge before the match, the team enjoyed a three course meal, paired with a host of drink options including the City’s very own ‘Pompey Lager’.
With the club celebrating their 125-year anniversary, Fratton Park was also host to a number of ex-players including Johnny Ertl, Linvoy Primus, and FA Cup winner Hermann Hreiðarsson.
Yakubu and Alan Biley were also present, and spent some time in the Partner’s Lounge before the game to talk about their time at Portsmouth as well as their predictions for the upcoming fixture.
The game finished a 1-0 win to the blues, with Owen Dale heading home the winner from inside the box.
Resolve have seen their Partnership with Portsmouth Football Club grow greatly in the last few months, with the club’s academy players given work experience at the Resolve office in Gunwharf Quays last month.
